Sadhguru urges to donate for Kaveri / Cauvery.

Donate for Kaveri (Cauvery Calling).  Sadhguru Sh. Jaggi Vasudev has started a moment & undertaken bike ride from the origin of Kaveri river to the place it empties into Bay of Bengal, under which willing person He/She needs to donate INR 42 / tree plantation on the banks of river Kaveri. So that, river water doesn't get depleted in coming future years. So that, our children & grand children see the river in good condition. He himself has even penned a song in Kannada. The song is sung by famous Kannada actor Punitrajkumar. The song is shown below.

Godavari River


Godavari River.

The Godavari is India's second longest waterway /river after the Ganga. Its starts in Bhramagiri Mountains, Triambakeshwar, Nasik, Maharashtra. It streams east for 1,465 kilometers (910 miles), wetting the land conditions of Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh & Odisha. Ultimately merging into the Bay of Bengal through its broad system of tributaries. Tributaries like Adhganga, Ramlila, Maner, Penganga, Wardha, Weinganga join this river.

It structures one of the biggest stream flows in the Indian subcontinent, with just the Ganga and Indus rivers having a bigger drainage basin. In terms of length, catchment area and release, the Godavari is the biggest in peninsular India, and had been called as the Vridha Ganga.

The stream delta supports 729 people/km2 – almost double the thickness normal for the country, and has been classified as having significant to more serious danger of flooding with rising ocean levels in light of Dams developed across it.
