Jaggi Vasudev has started a moment & undertaken bike ride from the origin of Kaveri river to the place it empties into Bay of Bengal, under which willing person He/She needs to donate INR 42 / tree plantation on the banks of river Kaveri. So that, river water doesn't get depleted in coming future years. So that, our children & grand children see the river in good condition. He himself has even penned a song in Kannada. The song is sung by famous Kannada actor Punitrajkumar. The song is shown below.

Ganga / Ganges River.

Ganga River

The Ganges/Ganga is a major in India which crosses through two nations of Asia in India and Bangladesh. It is spread in 2,525 km (1,569 miles). The rising stream of Ganga starts at the confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda  in the town of Devprayag, Uttarakhand. The Bhagirathi is viewed as the source in Hindu culture and folklore, in spite of the fact that the Alaknanda is longer, and, in this manner, hydrologically the source stream. Ascending in the western Himalayas in the Indian province of Uttarakhand, and streams south and east through the Gangetic Plain of India and Bangladesh, inevitably discharging itself into the Bay of Bengal. Places, for example, Patliputra, Kannauj, Kashi/Benaras/Varanasi, Allahabad, Murshidabad, Munger, Baharampur, Kampilya and Kolkata have been situated on its banks.

The Ganges is a life saver to millions, along its boundry. It is being treated as most sacred river to Hindus, and worshipped as the goddess Ganga in Hinduism.
